The client's goal
A wine producer approached us with a request to develop an online store with a large product catalog.
The goal was to create a user-friendly ordering system for specific wines, allowing customers to specify bottle size and vintage on a single page. Additionally, we wanted to provide detailed information about each wine variety, enabling users to better understand its taste and aroma.
Solution
We presented a characterization of different drinks in one catalog, developed a flexible customization feature for product characteristics, and worked out an easy-to-use system for drink selection, based on comprehensive market research.
Design
Our goal was to create a clean and user-friendly website. At the same time, it needed to be original and help convey the nuances of wine taste and aroma, as well as suggest wine pairings with different dishes. Additionally, the design had to reflect the brand.
The main types of website pages include: homepage, catalog page, product page, cart, and contacts. Mobile and desktop versions were developed based on UX audit data.
Fonts and color palette were carefully selected to effectively present product information. Buttons, bottle icons, and filter elements were designed to simplify interaction with the website.
Web development
Angular was chosen for developing a dynamic and responsive user interface, ensuring high performance in the web application.
Laravel and Blade served as the foundation for a robust backend, providing reliability and ease of development. Considering the database requirements, we utilized MySQL, ensuring efficient data storage and management.
Additionally, we implemented JavaScript to create interactive elements and enhance the user experience.
Convenient Selection and Ordering
The user can easily choose the year and vintage of the bottle, specify the quantity, and press the order button.
Volume Choosing between volumes is made easy, for everything is right inside the product card. Pricing and availability are updated.
Vintage The customer is presented with the pricing and availability status for each wine bottle vintage.
