Empty or poorly worked robots.txt file

It is necessary to write directives prohibiting indexing of technical sections and pages with advertising or technical GET parameters. Recently we audited a site where 80% was indexed with the strlid parameter added when switching from Google Merchant. Incorrect indexing (non-canonical addresses) significantly complicates promotion.

Google Page Speed Insight score not passed

This means the site generally does not meet Google's efficiency criteria. The main problem on the screen is CLS (layout shift) - layout improvement is needed.

Incorrect Hreflang tag filling

These tags are necessary for multilingual and multi-regional sites. Hreflangs are not visible to the user but are needed for targeting: they show Google which pages are created for which languages and countries.

Incomplete site indexing

On the screenshot – only 60 pages in Google, but should be 660. Reason – generated text or low content quality. Also pay attention to what exactly is indexed: pdf documents, non-canonical addresses, subdomains – or correct, canonical pages are indexed.

Need to add Organization microdata to all pages, including menu, Offer — for real estate cards, Product — for goods and sales pages, as well as BreadcrumbList for correct breadcrumb display in search. Article and FAQ — for articles and Q&A blocks, if present on the site.

Non-unique texts

Texts can be non-unique for several reasons:

  • Texts were unique, but copied from you – try to remove texts from sites (DMCA complaints) that copied your texts, or rewrite the text.
  • Publication of non-unique texts – if you receive a real estate database with descriptions, a product database with description and composition, then preliminary text processing is needed – manual or via AI (but with a good prompt).

Non-unique texts complicate site indexing, lead to reduced positions and traffic. We checked description indexing – the screenshot shows several competitors use identical text, and the analyzed site is not shown. This indicates the search engine understands who is the primary source and who copies texts.
