Biography

Dmitry Yuryevich Cherchel is responsible for ensuring that the project reaches production on time and continues to operate smoothly. He analyzes what the client truly needs, translates this into tasks for the team, and keeps to deadlines.

He has worked with e-commerce, real estate, fintech, healthcare, and logistics. On the backend, he uses Laravel and PHP; on the frontend, he works with Vue.js, Angular, and React, in addition to DevOps. Where the task is technically complex, he writes the code himself.

Professional Path

Dmitry has traveled the path from developer to technical manager. He knows the project from both sides: how to write it and how to manage it. He leads teams, coordinates architectural decisions, and participates in development where technical depth is needed.

Work Experience

From Developer to Fullstack

Webdelo Studio

PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, Angular, React, Tailwind

He started as a developer. Built backend on PHP and Laravel: commercial systems, integrations, business logic. At the same time, he mastered frontend — Vue.js, Angular, React, Tailwind. He learned to see the project from both sides: how to write it and how it will work for the user.

Architecture, DevOps, and Integrations

Webdelo Studio

CI/CD, Docker, GeoDNS, gRPC, microservices

As the tasks grew, so did the level of responsibility. He began to design systems, not just write code. He mastered architectural patterns — Factory, Chain of Responsibility, Saga, CQRS. He took on the DevOps part: CI/CD, Docker, Blue-Green Deploy, GeoDNS through Cloudflare. He started building microservice integrations on gRPC and Protocol Buffers. The stability of the system is the result of correctly established processes, not luck.

Technical Manager and Developer

Webdelo Studio

current role

He currently combines both roles. Plans sprints, distributes tasks, controls deadlines and quality, coordinates QA, developers, layout designers, and designers. Translates business tasks into understandable technical phases — the client always knows what is happening with the project. Conducts interviews, mentors the team, organizes knowledge transfer: each project is known by at least two people. The management role has not displaced development — he personally participates in complex technical tasks.

Education

Technical education provided a foundation: programming, networks, electronics, system administration. Then Dmitry learned based on tasks — not by plan, but by necessity. A new tool appeared in the project — he figured it out, took a course, implemented it. Git, Angular, Docker, gRPC, Protocol Buffers — each technology in the stack appeared not for collection, but because a specific task required it.

Cases

Dmitry is involved in the development of e-commerce, real-estate, fintech, and medical platforms. Builds integrations and infrastructure that handle the load and do not break under changes. Each case is a specific problem, a specific solution, and a measurable result.

BolgarskiyDOM.com company logo
AmoCRM Integration Microservice

BolgarskiyDom.com

Task:

CRM requests overloaded the main portal. The system was unstable, the load was increasing, incidents were multiplying.

Solution:

Developed a microservice layer that isolates the integration with AmoCRM from the main application. Wrote documentation — so that the system wouldn’t depend on a single person.

Result:

Stability increased by 40%. Overloads eliminated. The team works with the system without losing context.

BolgarskiyDOM.com company logo
GeoDNS Infrastructure via Cloudflare

BolgarskiyDom.com

Task:

The website is inaccessible in some regions due to blockages. Traffic is lost, business is losing customers.

Solution:

Implemented GeoDNS routing via Cloudflare with regional traffic segregation. Documented the solution for the team.

Result:

The website operates without blockages. Traffic is routed by regions. SLA ~99.9%.

Brand Alias Search

Stockoptika

Task:

Brand search is slow. Users can’t find the needed product — they leave for competitors.

Solution:

Implemented search by brand aliases with optimized database indexes.

Result:

Search speed increased threefold. Users find the product — conversion of search queries improved.

BolgarskiyDOM.com company logo
Knowledge Transfer Documentation

Bolgarskiydom

Task:

Knowledge of the system is concentrated with one specialist. When the developer changes, context is lost, tasks stall.

Solution:

Prepared documentation for the GeoDNS infrastructure and AmoCRM microservice: architecture, principles of operation, instructions for the team.

Result:

Knowledge transfer became seamless. A new developer joins the project without losing context and unnecessary questions.

Events

Dmitry does not wait for conferences — he shares knowledge within the team. But he also does not miss external events: it's a way to keep a finger on the pulse, find people with similar tasks, and bring into projects what is already working for others.

Expertise

Dmitry leads the team as a team lead but writes the code himself. He sets tasks for developers and takes on those areas where technical depth is needed. He designs the architecture, builds CI/CD, conducts reviews of others' code — and ensures that the whole team knows the project.

Fullstack Development Development of the frontend and backend parts of digital products
Writes backend and frontend on the same project: business logic, API, integrations, interface. He is responsible for ensuring that both parts work as a whole.
Technical Management Management of tasks, deadlines, quality, and team communication
Plans sprints, distributes tasks, controls deadlines. Checks that the team understands the client's requirements accurately. The client receives updates regularly and knows the project's current stage.
Architecture & Integrations Designing flexible architecture and integrations with external services
Designs the system before development starts. Applies microservices where isolation is needed: integration with AmoCRM was moved to a separate service, and the load on the CRM stopped affecting the portal. Conducts architectural reviews with the team.
DevOps & Reliability CI/CD, Blue-Green Deploy, GeoDNS, and stable change delivery
Sets up CI/CD and Blue-Green Deploy: changes are rolled out without downtime, and rollbacks take minutes. GeoDNS through Cloudflare directs traffic by region. SLA is about 99.9%, with no critical incidents during deployments.
Code Review & Mentorship Review of solutions, knowledge transfer, and development of engineering culture
Conducts code reviews and explains what can be improved. Discusses the project architecture with the new developer in the first week. Participates in interviews. Ensures that important parts of the project are known by at least two people.

Technologies

The stack covers the entire cycle: database, business logic, interface, deployment. Dmitry works at every level and sees how the backend solution echoes in the frontend and in production.

Backend on PHP and Laravel where complex business logic and integrations with external services are concerned. Frontend for the task: Vue.js, Angular, or React, depending on what is already in place on the project and where it will grow. Architectural patterns come into play when the system becomes more complex: Factory, Chain of Responsibility, Saga. The DevOps part is responsible for ensuring all this reaches the user without downtime.
